The Mask of Emmeline Jones.

The best is yet to come. Or at least that is what I keep telling myself.
I’ve been working on the edits and improvements the best I can. And I have drafted out a synopsis for the story.

Emmeline Jones is a beauty with a brain. She with her business partner and life-long best friend Joseph founded a production company–LJ Productions. Not only does she manage the company; but she also is one of its clients as both an actor and singer. She lives her life very structured making the most of her talent and business know-how.
But the life she has built for herself is now being threatened by a past that she and Joseph left behind. The attempt on Emmeline’s life has brought a whole new set of scrutiny and both the press and the world wants to know who is Emmeline Jones?

So now, what have I done to continue move in the right direction??

1. I am continuing to make Tiktoks. Is this a right direction? I really don’t know, but I am hopeful that maybe once the book comes out. Because of that account I will have been able to market my book a bit. I’m doing a series called “Watch Me Work” and while they are my least popular videos. I’m glad I’m doing that. Because it helps me stay focused while I’m working.
2. I really leaned into my library dates. Using that two-hour window to do what I’ve been saying that I’d do–but never actually did because I’m not a good time manager, yet. I have been able to complete all my chapters except one. The third chapter has been rough. I want it to be perfect, and it’s not adding up the way I want to it too. I have been taking a lot of time to really cultivate and work on it to be what I want it to be.
3. I’ve been working on cover art. I want have the formatting and cover art ready to go when my editor gets everything back to me. What I have I like, but I’m working on getting feedback from the trusted people in my life who know books and see what they say. I hope to get more followers on my social platforms with the promise of a book cover reveal. So, we will see about that.
