There has been a lot and yet nothing going on.

I know this say December edition. When I started this post, it was December. Clearly, it’s not December anymore. But I’m posting anyway. Then tonight, I will (start the post) to catch you up on the January plan.

It’s been so long since I penned a blog that I don’t even know what the last post was. Hold, while I go look. Oh, yes. The post where I explained how I wanted to sell books, but life was kicking my butt, and the grind of social media had taken its toll. And that’s still true, but the break has been good for me. So I’m starting to post again.

So….What’s next? Here is a list to tell you via a list.

1. Edits–Right now, they aren’t really happening. I don’t have an editor lined up for book two. I thought I did, and I am not sure what happened, but I’m sort of just floating on that.
2. Marketing. Ugh.
3. Independent Book Stores: I emailed a store, and haven’t heard back, so I have to figure out how I want to approach this and just do it. But that is so much easier said than done.
4. Plotting. The outline has been replotted to better match the happenings of book one. I’m really happy with the complete plan for book two, and am down to just getting the details sorted in the writing. The outline of book three is in progress to make sure the whole story has a satisfactory ending.
5. I have to figure out what my next step is.
   

I have lost steam. I’m losing momentum. But I am not giving up.
