How is September already basically over? Is it because this month is my third busiest of the year? Yes. I believe so.
Anyway, the first cool thing to inform you all about is my three-year anniversary of this website:
Welp, that may be the only cool thing to inform anyone about. In fact, this may be the shortest recap/round up post on this website. Because while I remain busy, it’s not on my author self or author life. That is all but stalled out.
I do have an idea for something that may be really awesome, or really terrible; we shall see.
On this particular idea, I’m not going to talk about it until after I’ve done it.
- One: so no one can talk me out of it–I have my own brain doing that.
- Two: Safety is not guaranteed.
- Three: No real third reason; I just wanted three reasons.
Now, with all that, these are my next steps, via a list.

- Edits: I need to hire an editor. I have two more chapters to finish (GOD I NEED TIME), and then I need an editor.
- Marketing: Yes. This needs to continue to happen. The hardest part about writing the book is not the actual writing; it is feeling good enough to convience others to read it.
- Plotting: I’m always plotting. Daily life. Stories. Revenge. Always plotting.
- Vendor Setup: I have to contact a vendor I was supposed to meet with in the spring and get that set up. I really am the world’s biggest procrastinator.
- Next Steps: Finish book two. Plot and plan book three. Maybe toy with a different book I have and start looking at traditional publishing with that again.
My journey is all my own, and right now it’s just sort of paused, which sucks.
